Focus, from your assistant
Free Pomodoro works with AI assistants that support MCP, like Meta Muse and Claude. Ask for a focus session, a break or a whole study plan, and get a link that opens the timer ready to go. No account needed.
Set it up
Using Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex or another coding agent? Copy this prompt and paste it in. Your agent adds Free Pomodoro and checks that it works.

Free Pomodoro needs no account or key. This is the server address; if you're asked about authentication, choose none.

Claude (web, desktop and Cowork)
- Open Customize → Connectors, click +, then Add custom connector.
- Paste the server address, leave Advanced settings empty, and click Add.
- In a chat, click + → Connectors and switch on Free Pomodoro.
Free plans can have one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it first under Organization settings → Connectors.
Meta Muse
Look for Free Pomodoro in Muse's connectors and tap Connect, or add it as a custom connector with the server address.
Then just ask. Your assistant replies with a link. Open it and Free Pomodoro is set up and ready: press Start for a focus session or plan, and a break starts on its own.
Things to try
- "Start a 25 minute pomodoro on my essay."
- "Give me a 10 minute break."
- "Plan two hours of chemistry revision in focus blocks."
- "Set up a 50 minute deep work session for the auth refactor."
What your assistant can do
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| start_focus_timer | A link to a focus session (default 25 min, up to 3 hours) with an optional label, ready to start. |
| start_break | A link that starts a break (default 5 min, up to an hour) as soon as it opens. |
| create_focus_plan | A link to a named plan of up to 12 tasks, each with its own focus length, worked through in order with breaks in between. |
Access and limits
- No sign-in, no key, nothing to set up. The connector only builds links; it stores nothing and doesn't know who is asking.
- Once you open a link, the timer runs in your browser like any other session, and your history stays on your device (or in your account, if you've signed in to sync). Your assistant can't see or control the timer after that.
- Everything is free, like the rest of the app.
